Buffalo Technology has announced LinkStation Pro LS-VL series network storage. It offers instant storage expansion and file access on home network and over the Internet.

Significantly faster than a USB hard drive, LinkStation Pro features a fast 1.6 GHz processor for maximum transfer speeds of up to 76 MBps. LinkStation Pro makes central storage and backup easy.

"Simply plug it into any network Ethernet port or into the back of your wireless router and instantly access it on any networked computer in your house," said Susumu Kobayashi, Country Head, Buffalo Technology.

While on the go, Buffalo's free WebAccess service can be used for remote access to the files over the Internet from any standard Web browser and the WebAccess iApps can be downloaded for free from the iTunes store to access and share files from iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. LinkStation Pro also includes NovaBACKUP Professional software for Windows and Time Machine support provides a whole home backup solution for every PC and Mac on your network.
