Champion Computers to start local manufacturing in Himachal Pradesh

Champion Computers, a leading brand in the space of IT and Communications, will be setting up its started its manufacturing plant in Himachal Pradesh, India .The company will initially start manufacturing smart phones and then will concentrate on Tablet PCs as awell.

Champion Computers has a tie up with state-run BSNL for its products since November last year and has sold over 1 lakh devices through the partnership.

On reaching a step ahead, Mr Kapil Wadhwa, Champion Computers Pvt. Ltd. Said “ with the growing competition and demand s of the consumer we have to be preempt in the country. Setting a manufacturing plant in india is a very profitable and wise decision. We will start manufacturing units from june end at Himachal Pradesh and expect to manufacture 1lakh units in a month in the initial phase. We are targeting to triple it by the end of the year”

The company has a established network of about 3,000 dealers across country and has a nationwide distribution network of 14 branch offices and 400 service centers. They plan to launch 3-4 devices every month after the starting of manufacturing unit.

The recently launched DM6513 phablet with 6.5-inch display and Android 4.2 is priced at Rs. 6,999 only. The range would also include Champion Wtab-704 Calling Tablet and Champion Wconnect-HSUPA- Wireless Data Card-3.5Gwith a download speed of 7.2mbps
