Dell Extends its Services to Emerson India

Dell India has successful implemented their IT Facility Management Services (FMS) for Emerson India, a diversified global manufacturing and Technology Company. The IT Facility Management Services (FMS) with its flexible IT infrastructure can quickly adapt to complex and changing demands. With the implementation of Dell’s solution and service, Emerson has increased manageability and reliability among its user base and has helped the team by enhancing IT operations.

With operations in different locations across India Emerson India has a tough challenge in manually managing multiple segments across the different locations. This fuelled the need to move to a better process driven model to cater to their scattered user base across India. Emerson chose Dell’s solution and support to help manage their end-user computing, regularize process improvement and attain higher user satisfaction. Dell helped Emerson in implementing a single point of accountability, offered control over multi-vendor end-user computing environments, delivered flexibility and scalability that helped in reducing the total cost of IT operations.

Dell has worked in transitioning to a process driven server support solutions for Emerson, the Dell dispatch service provided additional benefit for reducing the downtime resulting in improved customer satisfaction. Also, the in-house processes and ITIL based tool helped regularize the process improvements.
