EDIMAX Technology has announced the launch of the IC-7010 series network camera in India. The IC-7010PT model has won an award from BuyComs magazine - the most circulated computer buyer's guide magazine and website in Thailand.  

The Edimax IC-7010 series lets you see more than ordinary network cameras allow, making it ideal for surveillance purposes. This is because it features motorized pan and tilt, with a viewing angle of ±355° horizontally and ±120° vertically. The Edimax IC-7010 series is designed with 2-way audio support. It has a microphone and an audio output for speaker connection. By connecting speakers to the camera, users can remotely communicate with people at the site where the network camera is installed, or even ward off an intruder when necessary. 

The IC-7010 series features an SDHC/SD card slot for local data storage. Should the network or Internet connection fail, the IC-7010 series is able to save snapshots and videos locally on a SDHC or SD card.

The product comes with 3 years warranty. Price is yet to be announced.
