Global Infonet to Distribute WD’s External Products Range

WD  the world’s leader in external storage solutions, has expanded its distribution agreement with Global Infonet in India to include WD’s range of external storage and home entertainment products. This is in addition to WD’s existing relationship with Global Infonet which has a network of over 5,800 channel partners in the country for WD’s internal drives.

Global Infonet is India’s leading IT distributor, focused on distribution of PC systems, peripherals, IT components and home entertainment products for consumers. With this expanded relationship, WD plans to tap Global Infonet’s network in a phased manner to enter new regions and provide access to its range of external storage and home entertainment devices to customers in smaller markets.

“This expanded relationship with Global Infonet will help WD address the growing demand for its external storage products in smaller markets, and also introduce home networking and entertainment devices to customers in these markets. WD and Global Infonet have built a successful and strong relationship as partners over the past two years, and Global Infonet is well placed to take WD’s latest products to new markets,” said Mr. Khalid Wani, WD’s sales director branded products - India, Middle East & Africa.
