Go Tech Gives Needy People a Reason to Rejoice

It was a Makar Sankranti celebration which was celebrated in a different and noble manner. As a part of its unique CSR initiative which brought a hundred smiles to the faces of Nehru Place people in the capital, Go Tech, the Tablet manufacturer, distributed Five Hundred jackets to the needy people and hawkers at Nehru Place, New Delhi.

 Lohri is the cultural celebration on the eve of the winter solstice and Makar Sankranti is one of the most auspicious days for the Hindus and is celebrated in almost all parts of India in myriad cultural forms, with great devotion. In a colorful event to flag-off the initiative, Go Tech distributed jackets to needy people.

Each person was given a Jacket by Mahinder Aggarwal, President, All Delhi Computer Traders Association in presence of company spokesperson and employees.

Sandeep Popli, Country Manager, Go Tech Digital Pvt. Ltd. said "This unique initiative is just a small effort from Go Tech to bring smiles to the faces of needy people. This is our CSR initiative towards underprivileged people and children. We plan to initiate many more activities in the coming months".

Mahinder Aggarwal, President, All Delhi Computer Traders Association, said "This is indeed a kind gesture from Go Tech to distribute jackets to the needy of our market area on the occasion of the Lohri and Makar Sankranti. We are happy that Go Tech chose Nehru Place area for this initiative. I am sure the company will in the near future continue the good work, and will also do several concrete initiatives for the welfare and betterment of the needy in Delhi and across the country".
