HP announces Android tablets in the Indian market.

PC maker HP has unveiled two new tablets with voice calling functionality, HP Slate6 VoiceTab and HP Slate7 VoiceTab, in India.

Both tablets are powered by a quad-core processor and support 3G dual-sim, dual standby connectivity with voice calling. The company has not disclosed the name of the chip vendor and other hardware specifications at this point in time.

While HP Slate6 VoiceTab sports a 6-inch IPS display, HP Slate7 VoiceTab has a slightly bigger 7-inch display. The tablets feature stereo speakers and HD cameras at the front and rear, however, HP has not revealed the resolution of the lenses. The Slate tablets Built on Android OS, 16 GB of internal storage and will support a microSD card of up to 32GB for additional storage.The new Slate tablets will come with a pixilated, scratch-resistant back cover design &  will be available in India in February 2014,
