HP Displays exciting new applications at Annual Latex Summit

Hewlett-Packard has kicked off its Latex Summit in Gurgaon for the second year in a row, to update the industry about the latest advancements in HP Latex technology. The Latex Summit is a two day event being held on 11th and 12th April 2013. Visitors will experience the central theme of the summit ‘Print is Everywhere’, through a rich combination of LIVE demonstrations, panel discussions and workshops through the day. HP will showcase the latest trends in soft signage, vehicle graphics, textile printing, wall coverings and other applications of large format printing.

Speaking at the HP Latex Summit, Dhirendra Khurana, Country Manager, Sign & Display, GSB, HP PPS India said, “HP’s digital printing solutions combine true versatility and durability with the ability to lower the impact of printing on the environment. We are changing the industry in a way that affects how customers view printing. There is a broad spectrum of size, scope and custom applications made possible by digital printing, for everyone, from print service providers and technical design professionals to creative agencies and brand owners.”

HP continues to invest in development of the PSP ecosystem through application and sustainability education for Latex customers. Over the two days, customers can register for workshops focusing on a range of topics from textile printing to vehicle wraps. HP’s key solutions partners such as Avery Dennison India, ONYX Graphics Inc, 3T - InkJet Textile Consulting, Strata Geosystems and Zund Systemtechnik AG are participating in the event. The first day will also see a panel discussion on “Completing the Eco system while servicing Brands” moderated by Khurana and a session on “Emerging trends in printing applications” by the pioneer of textile printing - Thomas Poetz from 3P textile in Germany.

The HP Designjet L26500 Printer series can print on a broad range of materials, including eco-solvent compatible media and low-cost uncoated options. With new soft signage printing capabilities, customers can produce applications from retail banners to tradeshow signs and interior décor, which are easy to fold and pack, inexpensive to ship, simple to hang and have improved durability outdoors.
