Intex Hits the Indian Market with slimmest 7 inch android tablet

Intex Technologies has proudly announced the launch of its first 7 inch android tablet – INTEX i-Buddy.  i-Buddy has an ultra slim design with 9mm thickness which makes it perhaps the slimmest 7” tablet in India. Thoughtfully designed as an infotainment device, it is targeted at the evolved youth and urban & semi-urban professionals who aspire to own a computing device and learn the fun way.

The company is offering the second model in its tablet series in South India after the successful launch of its first 8 inch tablet – The INTEX i-Tab in March this year. With a planned expansion plan, the product will be available in various cities and towns in South region namely Madurai, Coimbatore, Salem, Nagercoil, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Vizag, Warangal, Guntur, Karnool, Bangalore, Mysore, Hubli, Mangalore, Gulbarga, Shivmoga to name just few.

Currently Intex has presence in South India through its network of 7 branch offices, 20 superstockists, 50 distributors and 2,500 retailers. The channel network will soon spread to C & D class cities and towns. Adding customer delight to its product offerings, Intex will strengthen its service centre network in South from 27 to 100 centres.

Post Tamil Nadu, the company plans to launch this tablet in other states of South India. This will be followed shortly by North, West and East India.

As an introductory offer, Intex has bundled i-Buddy with an exclusive leather cover with attached keyboard. The MRP of this accessory is Rs. 2590 which is being provided to i-Buddy consumers at no extra cost.

The company is also planning to launch new models of tablets in the coming months.
