Intex Unleashes iBuddy Connect- The SIM based tablet

Intex Technologies has nationally announced the launch of its 7” SIM-based tablet: INTEX iBUDDY CONNECT. The company that is penetrating through low-cost tablet market in India has introduced this tablet keeping price conscious youth in mind.

Since, this segment today is looking at one stop solution gadget with all the latest technologies and features at affordable price point; the company is offering iBuddy Connect at an unmatched price of Rs. 7990. As an introductory offer, Intex has bundled it with an exclusive leather cover with attached keyboard. The MRP of this accessory is Rs. 1500 which is being provided to the consumers at no extra cost.

The 7 inches (17.8cm) has an ultra slim design and supports 5 point touch capabilities. It runs on latest Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and sports 4GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB.  Powered by 1 GHz processor, the device comes with 512 MB of DDR3 RAM.

Aptly named, the tablet is capable of making smoother video calls with dual camera support, having 2.0MP camera at rear along with front VGA camera. To power up the device, it is endowed with 3000 mAh lithium Ion battery, which is expected to provide a long battery life.

The device comes pre-loaded with most popular social networking and informative applications such as Nimbuzz, Skype, Facebook, India Today and Aaj Tak.  To access internet on the device, one can choose from an array of options- 3G dongles (Airtel, Tata, and Idea), GSM SIM support, Wi-Fi or LAN.

For enhanced connectivity, the device offers HDMI support to connect it with any of the television devices. Moreover, built-in Bluetooth ensures smoother data transfer among various Bluetooth enabled devices. It runs on most of the operating systems available namely Windows2K, XP, Vistas and Windows7.

Available in two attractive colors- white and chocolate, the product can be bought through 15,000 plus distributors and reseller outlets and is available at more than 50 INTEX SQUARES and several hypermarkets across the country.
