Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of IT security solutions, announced launch of full-fledged India operations with an office in Hyderabad.  
  Ms. Suk Ling Gun has been appointed as the Managing Director, South Asia to spearhead the leading anti-virus company's expansion in the territory. Ms. Gun has led Kaspersky South East Asia for two and half years before assuming the new role.  
  “Operating out of India will provide the advantage of understanding customer expectations better besides helping us stay close to our valued channel partners. Our India investment outlay for this fiscal is in excess of US$ 2 million,” ,” said Mr. Harry Cheung, Managing Director, Kaspersky Lab, Asia-Pacific.   
“Kaspersky already has an established distribution network in South Asia and we are focused on channel expansion and development to establish more committed partners here,” said Ms. Gun.  
  Another important addition to the Kaspersky Lab India (KLI) senior management team is the appointment of Mr. Jagannath Patnaik as Director - Channel Sales. Mr. Patnaik is in charge of Kaspersky's sales and distribution in India.
