Microsoft Student Partners has organized the Delhi and NCR leg of the DreamSpark Yatra 2011 - a platform to share information with students on the latest trends and technology with an aim to create a local ecosystem of technology enthusiasts.
The event in Noida, held at JSS Academy of Technical Education, saw over 1100 students listening and interacting with Microsoft India executives and their own peers – who are Microsoft Student Partners.
Microsoft India has the largest technology student champion ecosystem on the planet - the Microsoft Student Partners – and the 730 partners in India are playing an active role in organizing the yatra in their respective cities.
Speaking about the yatra, Pratima Amonkar, Director, DPE Academia, Microsoft India, said “The DreamSpark Yatra is our initiative at driving wide-spread enthusiasm for, and awareness of the latest innovations and technology. Thousands of students across the country get to experience the latest in technology, sparking, we hope, ideas and innovation. It is also a forum that helps them decide what their career path could be.” |
