MMD Appoints Kuldeep Ramaiya as National Sales Head and Tapasya Ohri Gupta as Manager- Marketing

MMD, the leading technology company and brand license holder for Philips Monitors, today announced the appointment of Kuldeep Ramaiya as the National Sales Head of MMD India and Tapasya Ohri Gupta as the Manager- Marketing for India operations.  Through this appointment, the company aims to further strengthen its presence in India market and come closer to its customer.

This move will create new momentum for MMD to build channel partnerships across existing and new geographies and help grow its business through providing outstanding products and services to existing and prospective customers

Welcoming the appointments, Gautam Ghosh, Country Director-India, MMD said, “India presents the potential of one of the fastest growing economies of the world and we expect to grow our customer base exponentially. We have chosen Kuldeep Ramaiya and Tapasya Ohri Gupta to lead their respective operations in India at this crucial juncture”

Reporting to Gautam Ghosh, Country Director- MMD India, Kuldeep will work closely with channel and sales partners to develop business initiatives to enhance MMD’s customer base to strengthen for sales and distribution of Philips Monitors in India.

Commenting on his new role as National Sales Head at MMD India, Kuldeep Ramaiya said, “I’m very fervent to explore the opportunities in the market for Philips Monitors, which were absent from the market for a few years. But, now we are all geared up to revitalize the Philips brand with products that are future-ready and better as compared to those of their peers’.”

Kuldeep comes to MMD from ViewSonic where he was National Sales Head for India operations. Previously, he spent more than 15 years with leading IT companies such as Samsung, ViewSonic & BenQ. Kuldeep has a Bachelors of Commerce from the University of Mumbai

Tapasya Ohri Gupta, who is appointed as the Manager-Marketing of MMD India, has an illustrious career span with Indian arms of BenQ and ViewSonic where she was responsible for managing MARCOM (Channel & Brand) activities.

She is an MBA, specialising in Marketing & International Business and also has a Diploma in Advance Program In Digital Marketing. Both are based out of New Delhi
