Om Nanotech has launched the first 'made in India' memory modules and flash product brands named Zipmem and Dolgix. Promoted by two non-resident Indians Om Nanotech is a semiconductor company, the subsidiary of Om Associates based out of Singapore. The company plant set up its manufacturing plant in Noida in 2007 and today is shipping its products to 21 countries.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Khosla, CEO, Om Nanotech, said, “Catering to all main three segments of in memory modules – high-end, medium, and low or entry level, Om Nantotech has production capacity of 150,000 memory products per month. The company has plans to enhance the capacity up to 200 thousand per month by April next year.”
"Though the company was started in Singapore, India remained high in the scheme of things of the company. Consequently, the company set up a manufacturing plant in Noida” said Atul Khosla, director, Om Nanotech.
The production of electronic multimedia cards by the company is also on the cards in near future. Today the contribution of India to the company’s revenue is 20 per cent the company expects the figure to reach 30 percent in the next financial year.
