Plustek has launched a new portable flat-bed scanner OpticSlim 2600.  With a height of 3.3CM and weight of 1.4KG, OpticSlim 2600, is an ultra slim scanner, which can be easily taken on a journey or business trip. The fact that it doesn’t require power cord makes it truly portable. USB 1.1 interface provides for both power supply and connection to PC. 

OpticSlim 2600 uses CIS technology and can scan A4 documents at 1200dpi into multiple file formats like PDF, BMP, PCX, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, DCX, PCX,  etc. and can also export saved documents into Microsoft and Open apps like MS Word, MS Excel, WordPro etc. 

The scanner is assisted with five dedicated one-touch buttons for Copy, OCR, email, custom and PDF. Meanwhile, the scanner lid is equipped with specially designed hinges for scanning 3D objects and thick books. 

The device comes with three softwares New Soft Presto Image Folio 4.5, New Soft Presto Page manager 7 and ABBYY FineReader 9.0 Sprint. It boasts of TWAIN interface driver, which provides for automatic refining of documents during scan.
