Ricoh Inaugurates its first Live Experience Centre (LEX) in India

Ricoh India Limited has launched its first “Live Experience Centre” at its recently opened office in Jasola, New Delhi.  

The LEX or the Demo Centre is an-all new concept conceived by Ricoh India aimed at providing customers with a world class facility to experience the company’s various production class product and solutions, before they make their purchase decision. The second LEX will be set up in India’s IT capital, Bangalore shortly.  

Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Tetsuya Takano, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ricoh India Ltd. remarked, “Globally, Ricoh has established a version of LEX, known as Print Innovation Centre (PIC). There are currently five PICs set up worldwide, which have been well received by consumers and industry. In India we have made an investment of more than INR 400 million per centre. Ricoh India seeks to provide customers with an opportunity to simulate their work environment with various Software and workflow, under testing conditions. The LEX at Jasola has been designed on approximately 3,000 square feet area. On display will be the entire range of Ricoh products which include the Black and White Production Class Printers, the complete range in the Colour Production Printing category, Wide Format Products and last but not the least, various Software solutions. The LEX will be adequately manned by experienced and well trained man-power, who would help educate the end consumer in making an informed, suitable purchase decision out of the diverse range of Ricoh products, so as to add value to their workplace.”
