Digital technology leader, Samsung today announced its plans to strengthen its Netbook business by launching new models as well as expanding into new markets in the country .Samsung has launched its sleek and stylish N 148 , N150 ,N 210 Netbooks based on the Windows 7 platform in the Indian market. Samsung which introduced its Netbooks in the top 8 cities of the country in December 2008 , is in the process of expanding its presence in the country since the last Quarter of 2009. Over the past 3 months , the Company has launched its netbook range in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in South ; Punjab , UP , Haryana and Rajasthan in North and rest of Maharashtra .Last week , the Company launched its Netbook/Notebook range in Madhya Pradesh. Samsung plans to have a pan-India presence by the end of the first half , 2010.

The N210 and N150 have several display features that enhance the visual experience. The Samsung N210 and N150 incorporate Intel's latest processor, the Intel® Atom™ N450, which is specifically designed to deliver an amazing Internet experience using netbooks. With the launch of these new models, Samsung has emerged as a full-range player in the Indian market with a comprehensive line-up of its “N series” Netbooks. The Samsung Netbooks are priced in the range between Rs 16290/- to Rs 19,990/-.
Using the existing and extensive distribution network and dedicated manpower deployment at strategic points, Samsung plans to strengthen its position in the market. While the Company’s existing service centers will support the service needs of customers for Netbooks, Samsung also offers free pick up and drop service within the municipal limits of the city of operation.
