Samsung Enriches Its Smartphone Portfolio

Samsung has enhanced its Smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of 3 new ‘Wave’ series of handsets based on its proprietary platform, ‘bada’, as well as the Windows based , Omnia 652.

 The launch of Wave 525, Wave 533 and Wave 723 follows the launch of the first Wave phone in June this year along with the Android based Galaxy S. The new Smartphone models represent the perfect blend of smart looks and smart performance at more affordable price points.

Announcing the launch, Ranjit Yadav, Country Head – Mobile & IT, Samsung India stated, “The New smartphones reinforce Samsung’s commitment towards enhancing and democratizing the Smartphone experience in India.”

The Samsung Wave525, Samsung Wave533 and Samsung Wave723 include 3.2” WQVGA TFT displays and a 100MB internal memory with a free 2GB microSD card (expandable up to16GB). 

With the launch of 3 new Wave phones, the entire Wave portfolio of 4 phones (which includes the original Wave phone –S8500) is now available at a Price Range of  Rs. 8,800/- – Rs. 19,100/-.

The entire Samsung Smartphone portfolio consists of 8 phones in Android, bada and Windows platform at a price range of Rs.8,800 – Rs. 31,500.
