Samsung India has enhanced its Printer line-up with the launch of 8 new, advanced printer models in the Laser Printer, Multi Function Printer and Network Printer categories, including the World’s Smallest Laser Printer-ML1666.

It has an impressive 16 pages per minute speed and offers an intuitive printing experience by incorporating a number of easy to use one touch features into the product design. The full starter toner of 1500 pages, the standard one year onsite warranty and an additional 2 year warranty on this printer at Rs 399/- only coupled with an extremely affordable MRP of Rs 5499/- make the Samsung ML 1666 a great value for money printer.
The company is targeting a 30% market share and a 58% jump in volumes in the Year 2010 based on its considerably enhanced product offering, strengthened distribution channel and a sharper focus on B2B business.
Announcing the launch of the 2010 range of Laser Printers, stated Mr. Ranjit Yadav, Director, Mobile & IT, Samsung Electronics,” Printers, LCD Monitors and Note PCs are the growth drivers for our IT Business this year. Within the printing space, our enhanced lineup across both the entry level as well as the mid/hi end coupled with our enhanced distribution this year, especially at the Tier 2 and the Tier 3 channel levels, should see us emerge as a strong No.2 Player in the market.” With a sharpened focus on the B2B business, the company is expecting this business to contribute 30% to its Printer Volumes this year.
