SanDisk launches Diwali campaign

SanDisk Corporation has announced a month-long Diwali campaign to boost awareness of the important role played by high-capacity flash memory products.Starting October 21, SanDisk will begin distributing more than 500 prizes to consumers who purchase an 8 gigabyte (GB) and above SanDisk product and answer a series of trivia questions about the company.

“Our products offer consumers the storage they need to fully enjoy their mobile phones, DSLR cameras, computers and other digital devices,” said Manisha Sood, country manager, SanDisk India and SAARC region. “This Diwali promotion demonstrates the need for high-capacity flash memory products while rewarding our customers with hundreds of great prizes, including a trip to South Africa.”

Eligible participants can enter to win weekly prizes by purchasing any 8 GB SanDisk product and then answering a few trivia questions about the company. Upon making a purchase, consumers can participate in the contest through SMS text by sending “SanDisk” to 54242 or by logging on to www.SanDisk.in/diwali. The contest will last until November 20, 2010.SanDisk will also engage the audience using social media through a game that builds awareness about the company’s products and brand. The campaign will leverage a diversity of media for broad reach across print, radio, outdoor and online environments
