Strontium Technology announced the lucky winners of  its SMS Star contest today. The management, staff and customers of Strontium as well as representatives of local media were present to witness the draw in which a total of 373 prizes totaling over Rs.20 lac were given away. The results of the Draw can be viewed on Strontium’s website at www.strontium.biz.

The Grand prize winner, Mr. Asish Acharya of Kolkata drove away with a Chevrolet Beat car whereas Mr. Ashish Chindhalore of Bhilai(Chhattisgarh) won a Hero Honda CBZ motorcycle and Mr. RibansonRynga of Shilong-Meghalaya got a MacBook  at the draw held by Strontium Technology here in New Delhi today. Many other valuable prizes like Sony LCD TV, Ray Ban glasses, IPhones, MacBooks, Digital Cameras, IPods, mobile phones, Sony PS2 and Wrist Watches were also won by people from all walks of life all over India.

Also at the event, Strontium launched the world’s fastest Solid State Drives as their new Matrix series. The new SATA-III SSD is based on leading-edge 25nm NAND flash memory and Marvell controller. It is targeted for corporate IT or PC enthusiasts who would like a substantial performance boost over conventional mechanical hard disk drives. It is available in 128GB capacity with read and write speeds of 415MBps and 175MBps respectively.
