 Techcom, one of the leading IT Peripherals and Consumer Electronics brand in India, has entered the state of Bihar with its range of mobile handsets in the fast growing Indian mobile market.
With the new innovative range of handsets, it marks yet another business milestone for Techcom as it brings forth a world-class range of hand held products within the reach of consumers in Bihar.

“The handsets are designed with an eye on the masses in urban and semi-urban areas. We will announce various promotional offers in Bihar in the next six months for brand-building. We are looking at a network of 40 distributors in the state, out of which 25 are already in place while another 15 will be added in the next three months. With 10 service centers across the state Techcom aims to have at least one service center per district in next six months. We have a pan-India presence of our offices and distributors and hope to penetrate the Indian mobile market extensively in the next six months,” he added.
Techcom is planning to invest about INR 100 crore for brand building over the next 3 years nationally, where Bihar would be allocated about 10% of the budget. Primarily, in its first phase of handsets launch, Techcom is targeting major zones comprising Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Katihar, Purnia, Sitamarhi, Begusarai and Bhagalpur.
