Trend Micro Expands its Hosted Security Service


 Trend Micro is delivering its “Worry-Free” promise of safer, smarter, simpler security through a new subscription-based, hosted service solution that allows small businesses to be always connected, always protected. With the introduction of the new Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Services, small businesses are relieved of server-management burdens and time-consuming updates, yet still have easy control through its Web-based console that lets them manage and monitor their computers, even those that are unconnected to the network.

Worry-Free Business Security Services has a central, web-based console that s hosted by Trend Micro so small business customers can monitor and manage their desktop, laptop and server security from anywhere.

Through these initiatives the company intends to ramp up protection for small business with mobile workforces.The USB Device Threat Prevention feature blocks threats whenever USB drives are used; the Wireless Network Prevention feature protects users against potential hackers while accessing an unknown wireless network.
