Wipro insists on Compuware to Build Best-of-Breed Performance Engineering Practice

Compuware Corporation has announced that Wipro Technologies has chosen Compuware to be the preferred solution provider of application performance management (APM) for Wipro’s performance engineering practice, which is a part of Performance Testing. Software performance engineering--which is a key part of the software development life cycle--is used to describe the processes, people and technologies required to effectively test non-functional requirements and ensure adherence to service levels prior to deployment.

Wipro is investing in the high-growth performance engineering space and has selected Compuware APM--dynaTrace--to couple their performance expertise with the industry’s most comprehensive APM solution. Wipro customers will be using Compuware dynaTrace for application performance in combination with performance testing across their pre- and post-production environments.

Wipro’s performance engineers will use Compuware dynaTrace to help customers achieve performance maturity to ensure their applications are problem-free when they go live.

Application complexity is driving specialized practices like that of Wipro to ensure performance and stability in critical business initiatives as well as driving more companies to outsource software development, testing and performance enhancement projects to companies with deep skills in this area. With this combined offering, Wipro and Compuware are providing an all-inclusive software and service solution that can be leveraged across pre- and post-production environments.
